Inner Beauty

Oct 05, 2023

Beauty is not a word I resonate with. So it seems ironic to me that my friend asked me to teach a segment in the upcoming School of Inner Beauty program.

If it weren’t for mirrors or lenses that show us our reflection, we don’t generally look at ourselves. We have this outward lens and most of us are trapped in a negative inward projection about ourselves that leaves us stuck in shame, feelings of not good enough or feeling less than and unworthy.

That is where I spent the greater part of 30 years of my life – in this negative commentary about myself. Wearing the mask that “everything is okay on the outside, but meanwhile I am dying on the inside.” When I learned to shift my inner dialogue away from the constant critic towards the voice of self-compassion my world changed for the better. The weight of worry faded. I moved from placing emphasis on what other people thought and their opinions to giving value to my own voice, my own truth. To move to the beat of my own heart and soul versus being a people pleasing puppet on a string commanded by the voice of others. It was through this process of taming my inner critic that I found peace.

My friend Camille’s Unlock Your Inner Beauty free online workshop started this week and it is not too late to join. If you are curious about The School of Inner Beauty which will begin in August, and you want to have time to get a sense for if this school is something you’d like to invest time in, this is the way to do it ?

Video #1 is about taming your inner critic AND Camille shares in depth about herself and her story, which is important because she’s the leader and you need to feel with your body if you resonate with her.

She also shares the 4 keys she has observed that women who have “unlocked their inner beauty” “mastered” (meaning they aren’t perfect at it, but they do live mostly here) and her ability to both be heartfelt and practical is so helpful. At the end she gives you a simple lesson you can do and try and see how you feel.

Next week on the 17th, 18th, and 19th of July, there will be a livestream panel with some of us teachers on FB on Body Shame, Depression Loneliness, and Motherhood.

Camille has put her heart into this project for you! I can feel it. And on the back end, being a teacher, I can say that she is really doing such a great job of being a leader of all the teachers and creating a teamwork atmosphere. Which is something I feel is important for me, as a participant, and for you to know, as a potential customer. She has tons of integrity.

You can watch all the free videos here

Camille’s Story about her own journey is so relatable, and is truly all of our journeys as we try to figure out how to reclaim our feminine essence, our joy, and our path in a world that doesn’t teach us or support us in living in our natural and vibrant ways. Thank you so much for taking the time to check this out if it resonates with you :))

Remember that the new moon plus eclipse is happening Thursday/Friday this week and there is so much opportunity this week for silence, slowing down, and listening in, and really feeling the deep emotions that this cancer sign July is filled with.

Many Blessings,
Dr. Chris
